Concierge
What makes a trip harder is often not the big questions but the small ones: where to buy a SIM card, where to change money, how to get a table at a popular restaurant or where to leave a suitcase on the last day. A concierge service handles these for you, so your time goes on travelling rather than searching. In this section we explain what we help with and where our role ends.

Who this is for
Tourists with a few days in the country who do not want to waste time.
Also business visitors and people living in Georgia for months who need help with everyday matters.
Our role
We find, check and connect: guides, couriers, restaurants, luggage storage points and other partners.
You pay partners directly, and we never hold your money. We take no commission from partners, and our fee is agreed in advance.
What a concierge is
A concierge is one contact for many small matters.
Instead of calling ten different places, you send one message.
We work out the details and come back with a ready option or a few choices.
How to reach us
The fastest way is a messenger: write briefly what you need and when.
For something urgent, call us directly.
A photo or screenshot often says more than ten sentences.
Response times
A simple question, such as where to change money, we usually answer quickly.
Booking a restaurant or guide needs the partner's reply, which sometimes takes a few hours.
Something complex, such as an international shipment, we plan in advance.
Your first day in the country
On day one you need three things: a connection, local money and a way to the hotel.
We arrange all three before you arrive, so you do not leave the airport confused.
We write about transfers in the transport section.
Mobile connection
A local SIM card gives you calls and data far more cheaply than roaming.
To register it, the operator as a rule asks for your passport.
Newer phones can use an eSIM, and we cover the details on a separate page.
Internet and Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is normal in hotels, cafes and many public spaces.
In the mountains and remote villages the signal is weak or absent, and we allow for that in the route.
If you need stable internet for work, we check the hotel's speed in advance.
The lari and prices
Georgia's currency is the lari, and shops and restaurants take payment in lari.
An ordinary shop will not accept dollars or euros.
So we suggest changing a small amount as soon as you arrive.
Cards and cash
In cities you can pay by card almost everywhere, but at markets and in villages you need cash.
Cash machines are everywhere, though your bank may charge a fee for withdrawals abroad.
Tell your bank before the trip so your card is not blocked overseas.
We never touch your money
We do not change, carry or hold money for you.
We tell you where there is a reliable exchange office or bank, and go with you if needed.
This rule protects you and us equally.
Guides
A guide shows you the city the way only a local knows it.
We choose a guide to match your interests: history, architecture, food or art.
A half-day walk is possible, and so is a trip of several days.
Interpreters
At a doctor's, a bank, a notary or a business meeting, a spoken interpreter makes everything simpler.
We choose the interpreter by subject, because medical and legal vocabulary differ.
A certified translation of an official document is a separate service, and we connect you with a proper bureau for it.
Restaurant bookings
At popular restaurants, tables at weekends are often booked in advance.
We book the table and confirm the menu, dietary needs and live music.
You pay the bill at the restaurant, and we add nothing to the price.
Theatre and opera
The Tbilisi opera and the Rustaveli and Marjanishvili theatres are the heart of the city's cultural life.
We check the repertoire, the language and whether a performance has subtitles.
You buy tickets at the official box office or website, with no reseller in between.
Concerts and events
Festivals, jazz, folk and sports matches often sell tickets quickly.
We check the event calendar against your dates.
We write about events in a separate section.
Museums and tours
Most state museums close on Mondays, and we allow for that in the day's plan.
Some museums need group tours booked in advance.
We confirm the audio guide language and accessibility beforehand.
Baths and spas
Private rooms at the sulphur baths are often full in the evening and at weekends.
We book a time and confirm the massage and the room size.
With a health condition, check with your doctor before visiting the baths.
Luggage storage
On the last day there are often several hours between checkout and your flight.
Hotels usually keep luggage; if not, we find a luggage storage point in town.
Do not leave valuables or documents in your luggage.
Lost luggage
If your suitcase does not arrive after a flight, file a report at the airport, at the airline's desk.
Keep the report number and receipt, because everything afterwards relies on them.
We help with correspondence with the airline and coordinating delivery of the suitcase to your hotel.
Forwarding luggage
Some guests send heavy luggage ahead to the next city or straight home.
We arrange this through a courier company, and you pay the rate directly.
We check customs rules and prohibited items before sending.
Couriers in the city
In Tbilisi and large cities a courier will often deliver a document or small parcel the same day.
We call the courier and agree the address and timing.
When sending something valuable, we ask about insurance in advance.
International shipments
International express couriers operate from Georgia to every destination.
Some items, such as wine, alcohol or medicines, have special rules.
We write about shipping wine separately in the shopping section.
Delivering documents
Delivering a document to a notary, the public registry or an embassy can often be done by courier.
We send original documents only with a reliable courier and against a signed receipt.
We do not send passports by courier unless a specific institution requires it.
The pharmacy
If you cannot leave the hotel, we arrange for what you need to be brought from a pharmacy.
Prescription medicines are only dispensed on prescription, and we do not get around that rule.
We give no medical advice, but we help you reach a doctor.
Laundry and dry cleaning
On a long trip, washing clothes is one of the first questions.
Hotels often do laundry, and launderettes and dry cleaners are everywhere in town.
We book quick cleaning and pressing of a business suit in advance.
Flowers and gifts
A birthday, an anniversary or a thank-you: we arrange flowers and gifts delivered to an address.
When visiting a Georgian family, sweets, fruit or flowers are always a welcome gift.
We write about gift cards in the shopping section.
Beauty and grooming
A hairdresser, manicure or beard trim before an event is often remembered at the last minute.
We look for a salon near the hotel and, where possible, a stylist who speaks your language.
On a wedding day or before a big event we also arrange for the stylist to come to the hotel.
Taxis and transport
In the city, calling a taxi through an app is simplest, and the price is shown in advance.
With a taxi stopped in the street, agree the fare before getting in.
We write about cars with drivers and transfers in the transport section.
Equipment hire
Skis, hiking poles, a tent or a bicycle are not always worth bringing from home.
We find a hire point to suit your size and level and confirm the condition of the gear in advance.
Read the rental agreement and deposit terms carefully before signing.
Apartment matters
In a rented apartment, a broken water heater or tap is usually the landlord's responsibility.
We help you talk to the landlord in Georgian and find a tradesperson.
We write about renting an apartment in the accommodation section.
Utility bills
When living here long term, you pay for electricity, gas, water and internet at a payment terminal or through a bank app.
We show you how to find the account number and how to pay.
We do not pay on your behalf with our own money and do not use your card.
Banks and accounts
Foreigners can often open a bank account in Georgia, though requirements differ from bank to bank.
We go with you to the bank with an interpreter if you need one.
We write about this in more detail in the relocation and business sections.
Receiving parcels
To receive something ordered online you need a correct address and phone number.
Hotels usually accept parcels if you warn them in advance.
Items ordered from abroad sometimes need customs clearance, and we help with that.
Pets
Walking a dog, buying pet food or finding a pet hotel are common concierge requests.
We always care for an animal according to the owner's instructions.
We write about reaching a vet in the health section.
With children
A pushchair, a child car seat or a nanny are services in the family section.
The concierge handles the small things: nappies at night, a favourite cereal or a children's doctor.
We write about travelling with children in the family section.
Business visitors
A business trip often needs a meeting room, printing or a quick interpreter.
We have everything ready before the day of the meeting so no time is lost.
We write about business services in the business section.
Photographers
A couple's photo shoot, family pictures or covering a business event are frequent concierge requests.
We choose a photographer by style and portfolio and send you samples in advance.
We plan the location and time around the light, often in the morning or at sunset.
Printing and copies
Printing a ticket, document or presentation is not always possible at the hotel.
Print and copy shops are everywhere in town, and we show you the nearest one.
Do not leave files with personal data on a public computer.
Local etiquette
Georgians are hospitable, and paying for a guest is sometimes a matter of the host's honour.
Modest dress in church and offering to take off your shoes in a home are normal.
We tell you about such details in advance so you are never caught in an awkward moment.
Language and alphabet
The Georgian alphabet is unique, and street signs or menus are sometimes only in Georgian.
In cities many young people speak English, and the older generation often Russian.
In a tricky situation we translate by phone or write a short text for you to show a local.
Weather and clothing
In Georgia it can be hot in Tbilisi and blowing a cold wind in Kazbegi on the very same day.
The evening before an outing we check the weather on the route and tell you what to wear.
We write about weather and seasons in the information section.
Safety
Georgia is generally a safe country, though pickpockets do appear in crowded places.
Treat unexpected offers in the street to change money or help you with caution.
The emergency number is 112.
Privacy
A concierge often needs personal information: an address, a passport copy or flight details.
We share it only with the partner who needs it for that specific task.
Once the task is done, we do not keep unnecessary copies.
Choosing partners
We choose couriers, guides, restaurants and storage points on experience and guest feedback.
If a partner lets a guest down, we stop working with them.
For each task we offer one or several options, and the choice is yours.
What we do not do
We do not change, hold or pay money on your behalf.
We give no medical or legal advice, but we connect you with a specialist.
We do not carry out unlawful requests, such as sending a prohibited item.
A short visit
On a three- or four-day visit every hour counts.
So we arrange the SIM, transfer, restaurant and last-day luggage before you arrive.
On the spot you only need to write to us about the unexpected.
Living here longer
For people living in Georgia for months, the concierge becomes an everyday helper.
Apartment matters, bills, parcels and doctor's visits are handled through one contact.
We write about relocation in a separate section.
Groups and corporate clients
For a group or a company's guests we assign one responsible person to the concierge.
We gather every guest's requests in one list so nothing gets lost.
We write about conferences and events in a separate section.
Season and demand
In summer, at harvest time and on major holidays, restaurants and guides fill up quickly.
At those times we start booking earlier.
In winter and at the start of the season there is plenty of choice, and last-minute requests are easy.
Nights and holidays
At night and on holidays some partners do not work, and some matters wait until morning.
In an emergency we answer the phone 24/7.
We write about emergency help in a separate section.
Common mistakes
Changing a large sum at the airport, where the rate is often less favourable.
Leaving the booking of a popular restaurant or bath until the last minute.
Sending an original document with a random courier and no signed receipt.
What we need from you
What you need, where and when, as precisely as possible.
Your phone number, hotel and travel dates.
Limits and preferences: budget, language, food and other details.
Cost
Partners set the price of their services, and you pay them directly.
We take no commission from partners and add nothing to their prices.
Our fee depends on the scope of the tasks and is agreed in advance.
